Wes Allen

Wes Allen is an accomplished retail professional and industry leader with extensive experience in the outdoor sector. Currently serving as Principal at Sunlight Sports since August 2016, Wes has contributed to the company being recognized as one of the top 100 outdoor retailers in America by Outdoor Magazine in 2015. Prior to this role, Wes was the President of Grassroots Outdoor Alliance, advocating for over 60 specialty outdoor retailers and premium brands. Additional experience includes serving as an Outdoor Industry Speaker and Account Consultant for Tilt/Shift Brands, and holding positions as Owner of Ullr Investments, Inc., National Sales Manager for Chaco, and Store Manager at REI. Wes has a strong educational background from Black Hills State University and Greybull High School.
