Sunnova Energy is searching for Dealer Support Trainer to be responsible for training new hire classes, up-training, and working with Dealer Support Management team to develop curriculum. The Dealer Support Trainer will spend most of the time teaching new hire training, working with the Contact Center Supervisors and Quality team to identify up training opportunities. 

Responsibilities

  • Delivers training programs and content for multiple learning environments, including classroom, web, facilitator-led, self-paced, On the Job Training (OJT), and blended; uses various adult learning methods, techniques, and delivery modes to maximize learner outcomes
  • Administers, leads, and trains new hire classes with up to 15 participants
  • Facilitates effectively and objectively, ensures all participants learn and/or bring the learning event through to successful conclusion
  • Participates in train-the-trainer environments with our consultants to adapt our new and existing training programs
  • Works with new hires in the call center during nesting week of training to answer questions and provide support
  • Develops agendas for training sessions
  • Delivers engaging training courses, content, lessons, curriculum, and activities for new and changing processes, procedures, and products for a variety of roles with a variety of learning styles
  • Measures and improves learning outcomes of training programs; develops assessments and testing processes for use during training delivery
  • Is a subject matter expert on products, policies, and processes for assigned lines of business
  • Works with dealer development, installations, and account managers to deliver ongoing training programs, courses, and communications
  • Collaborates with internal stakeholders and clients in the ongoing development of training programs to consistently improve our quality and customer/dealer satisfaction

Minimum Requirements

  • 0-2+ years’ training delivery experience
  • 2-4+ years’ working in an energy market

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in an applicable field
  • Salesforce experience

Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Demonstrated understanding and application of adult learning theory and multiple delivery methods
  • Deep working knowledge of ADDIE, Observe/Apply/Practice, or other instructional design methodologies
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially in PowerPoint and Word
  • Exceptional organizational skills, written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and adhere to strict time deadlines
