K. Sonu Gaind has an extensive work experience in the field of psychiatry and mental health. In 1999, they joined the University of Toronto and held various roles including Professor, Co-Director of the Adult Psychiatry and Health Systems Division, and Co-Chair of the Anti-Stigma and Anti-Discrimination SubCommittee.
