Karla G. Walter

Karla G. Walter is an accomplished financial executive with extensive experience in the education sector. Currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer for Sunnyside Unified School District since July 2022, Karla has held similar CFO roles at Roosevelt School District from February 2018 to June 2022 and Tucson Unified School District from January 2014 to June 2017. Prior to these positions, Karla was the Finance Director at Nogales Unified District for 18 years and served as Chief Deputy at the Santa Cruz County School Superintendent's Office for nearly 12 years.
