Katie Brown

Katie Brown possesses extensive experience in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as Senior Director of Analytics & Remote Operations at SunPower Corporation since December 2013. Prior roles at SunPower include Director of Applications Engineering and Program Manager, where leadership of cross-functional teams in photovoltaic system development was a key responsibility. Katie also contributed to the American Association for the Advancement of Science as a Science & Technology Policy Fellow. Earlier career experiences include Government Contracts Manager at PowerLight Corporation and Project Leader at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, focusing on government-funded research and development projects. Katie holds an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management, a Master of Science in Engineering & Technology Management from the Colorado School of Mines, and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering Physics from the same institution.
