Michael Morrell

Michael Morrell is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in strategic lending and financial management. Currently serving as Executive Vice President and Director of Strategic Lending at Sunrise Banks since March 2014, Michael also holds the position of Board Chair at NeighborWorks Home Partners since March 2016. Previous roles include Finance Director at Urban Partnership Bank and Associate at ShoreBank, along with experience as a Financial Analyst at Stearns Bank and Analyst and Commercial Lender at Fransden Financial. Michael began a career in investment banking as an Investment Banking Analyst - Corporate Finance at Miller & Schroeder Financial, Inc. Holding a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance from the University of St. Thomas, gained from 1996 to 2000.
