Mark Wallace, MD, MPH has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Mark has served as a Board Member at Banner Health since 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Chief Clinical Officer at Sunrise Community Health from 2020. From 2018, they served as the Chief Clinical Officer at Northeast Health Partners. Mark also contributed to the healthcare sector as a Board Member at the Center for Improving Value in Health Care since 2015. In 2002, they co-founded the North Colorado Health Alliance and served as its CEO and CMO. Mark Wallace has been an active member of the Colorado Medical Society since 1992. Mark also served as a Board of Directors member at The Colorado Health Foundation and was a Chair of the Board of Directors at Sunrise Community Health. Additionally, they held the position of Senior Regional Medical Director at Colorado Access from 2011. Dr. Mark Wallace has an extensive education history that includes degrees in medicine, public health, and biological sciences. Mark earned their Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Biological Sciences from the University of Northern Colorado, where they studied from 1975 to 1979. Following their undergraduate studies, Dr. Wallace pursued a medical degree (MD) at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California, graduating in 1984.
After completing their medical degree, Dr. Wallace obtained a certification as a Diplomate from The American Board of Family Medicine, Inc. in 1984.
In 1987, Dr. Wallace began studying at the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health, specializing in health systems. Mark completed their Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in 1989.
In 2004, Dr. Wallace attended the UCLA Anderson School of Management, where they participated in the Healthcare Executive Program to enhance their expertise in the healthcare field.
Dr. Mark Wallace has pursued diverse educational opportunities, obtaining degrees in medicine and public health, and continuously enhancing their knowledge through additional certifications.
