Heather Christie

Heather Christie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with extensive experience in providing therapy and social services across various settings. Currently employed at Trauma Treatment and Counseling since May 2022 and at Sunrise Residential Treatment Center since September 2015, Heather specializes in individual, couple, and group therapy for clients with substance abuse issues. Prior roles include Certified Social Work Intern at the Utah County Department of Drug and Alcohol Prevention and Treatment and the Utah State Prison, where Heather conducted mental health therapy and assessments. Additionally, Heather has a strong academic background, having served as a research and teaching assistant during studies at Brigham Young University, which culminated in a Doctorate of Social Work from Barry University. Heather holds a Master's Degree and Bachelor's Degree from Brigham Young University in Social Work and Human Development and Family Studies, respectively.
