Jason Boersma

Jason joined the Sunrise team in October 2018, after a 20-year career in the automotive and commercial vehicle industries. He grew up in a family of truck drivers and is the third generation of his family to work in the transportation industry. Jason started working for a local car dealer while in college and moved on to work for a few regionally-based automotive dealer groups in a variety of positions related to eCommerce, systems integration, facility construction, dealership acquisitions, and back-office consolidation.

In 2007, Jason started working for global truck manufacturer Navistar, Inc. (International Truck and IC Bus) Over the years he progressed through several management roles until he was promoted to Senior Manager, Dealer Systems Support with responsibility for supporting over 1400 truck and bus dealer locations around the globe. Eventually, Jason moved into Navistar’s Dealer Operations Team with responsibility for the IC Bus dealer network and managing strategic initiatives for the International Truck dealer channel.

Jason holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and History from North Central College in Naperville, IL. He currently resides with his family in Downers Grove, IL, and is active in the community by coaching girls basketball at the Park District and serves as the treasurer for a local Boy Scout troop.
