Diane Benedetti has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Diane is currently the Director of Asset Management at Sunrock Distributed Generation. Prior to this, they worked at Centrica as a Manager, Residential Solar Assets and Vendor Relationships from 2019 to 2022. Diane also served as a Naturalist and Outreach Coordinator at Jug Bay Wetlands Sanctuary from 2018 to 2019 and as a Guest Engagement member at the National Aquarium from 2017 to 2018. Diane worked at Direct Energy Solar for several roles, including Senior Manager Customer Care from 2015 to 2017, Customer Care Manager from 2012 to 2015, Marketing Manager from 2010 to 2012, and as a Solar Associate from 2009 to 2010. Prior to that, they were an Early Childhood Science Coordinator at PRINCE GEORGE'S CHILD RESOURCE CENTER, INC. from 2007 to 2009, and a Park Naturalist at the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission from 2005 to 2007.
Diane Benedetti obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Natural Resources from Cornell University in the years 2003 to 2007. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Environmental Science and Policy with a concentration in Ecological Management at The Johns Hopkins University from 2009 to 2013. Additionally, they obtained a certification as a Certified Interpretive Guide from the National Association for Interpretation in June 2017.
