Dean Lawler has a diverse range of work experience starting from 1991 to the present. Dean started their career as a graduate trainee and accountant at Anglian Water Services. Dean then worked at Schroders as a corporate accountant, where they consolidated worldwide divisional accounts and prepared financial statements. At Barclays, they served as a finance and planning manager for Barclays Premier, managing accounting, financial reporting, and performance metric reporting. Dean then joined Jefferson Wells as a director, where they developed the Accounting and Finance Practice and delivered consulting solutions for various clients. Dean later worked at National Cooperative Bank as a controller and senior vice president, managing SEC and regulatory filings. At Walker & Dunlop, they served as a controller and senior vice president, implementing a KPI driven financial reporting pack and budget process. Dean then joined Accenture as a manager in client financial management, where they partnered with client teams to achieve financial goals and provided variance analysis and pricing support. Currently, they are the chief financial officer at Sunseeker International Ltd, where they previously held positions as finance director, director of controlling and FP&A, and head of commercial finance.
Dean Lawler attended Poole Grammar School from 1981 to 1987. Dean later pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Studies at the University of Hertfordshire from 1987 to 1991. Dean also obtained a certification as a Chartered Management Accountant (ACMA) from CIMA (UK).
