Stephen Armitage

Stephen Armitage is a seasoned professional in fitness and community recreation, currently serving as the Program Coordinator at Sunshine Coast Regional District since November 2021. Prior experience includes a decade-long tenure at Vimy Ridge Academy, where Stephen advanced from Associate Director, leading the Hockey Program, to Program Director, overseeing the engagement of stakeholders and collaboration with teachers to enhance academic and athletic development programs. Stephen holds a Graduate Certificate in Sport and Recreation Management from the University of Alberta, expected in December 2023, and a Bachelor of Kinesiology in Physical Education and Sport Performance from the same institution, attained in 2007.
