Scott Smith has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Scott began their career at Better Beef Limited in 1998 as a Foreman in the Packaging department. In 2003, they joined Guardian Fiberglass as a Shift Supervisor and Training Manager. Scott then transitioned to Olon Industries Inc. in 2008, where they served as a Shipping Receiving Supervisor until 2013. From 2013 to 2015, they worked at Sysco Canada as a Warehouse Supervisor, overseeing a team of 10 employees and 5 drivers. During their tenure, they achieved significant cost reductions and implemented quality standards. Currently, Scott is employed at Sunstar Americas, Inc. Since joining the company in 2015, they have held various positions including Warehouse Supervisor and Demand Planning and Forecast Lead. Scott currently serves as an Operations Manager, responsible for overseeing supply planning and operations.

Scott Smith completed their Secondary School Education from 1994 to 1995 at Guelph Collegiate Vocational Institute, where they obtained an OSSD (Ontario Secondary School Diploma). During their time there, they took courses in Math, English, and Mechanic/Automotive. Prior to that, from 1990 to 1994, Scott attended Kincardine District Secondary School and also obtained an OSSD, however, their field of study during this period was not specified.
