Isabel Jao

Isabel Jao has over 8 years of professional experience in the finance and technology industries. Isabel began their career in 2013 as a Consultant at Synergis Management Services Limited, where they designed and created bilingual presentations on international and local real estate projects and performed due diligence with a focus on local on-going real estate projects. In 2015, they joined Beacon Trust as an Associate, where they conducted due diligence on new investment opportunities for their risks and possible returns, and managed portfolios and projections for high net worth individuals. In 2016, they became a Consultant at Imagine Partners LLC, where they researched and identified business opportunities for deals and facilitated development of investment deals in the art, film, and real estate industry both domestically and internationally. In 2018, they became a Consultant at J.A.O Design. In 2019, they joined The Grace Hopper Program at Fullstack Academy as a Full Stack Software Engineer, where they completed a 17-week immersive software engineering program based in New York City. Currently, Isabel is a Co-Founder & Finance Associate at Sunstone Credit and an Investment Manager at Exvor Capital, a family office private investment firm focused primarily on sustainability investing, where they are managing early stage investments in the clean energy, technology, and sustainability development space, and is an advisor to start-ups founded by Exvor.

Isabel Jao completed a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) in Hospitality Administration with Real Estate Finance and Revenue Management at Glion Institute of Higher Education from 2009 to 2012. Isabel then went on to pursue a Master's Degree in Finance, General at the University of Rochester - Simon Business School from 2014 to 2015. In 2016, they obtained a Level I CFA Holder certification from the CFA Institute. Most recently, in 2020, they completed a Computer Software Engineering program at Fullstack Academy.
