Samta Arora

Samta Arora is the current VP of Learning & Outcomes at Sunstone Eduversity. Samta was previously the Director of Learning Impact at Harappa Education from October 2019 to July 2021. Prior to that, they were a Consultant and Advisor from April 2019 to October 2019. Before that, they were the Head of Academy at the Centre for Civil Society from August 2013 to March 2019. In this role, they led the Centre's Academy focusing on academic programs, trainings, events and outreach with students, journalists, opinion makers, public intellectuals and key policy makers/influencers. Samta also developed the annual plan and managed project allocations for the Academy.

From October 2019 to July 2021, as Director of Learning Impact at Harappa Education, Samta conceptualized and executed a three-year scale up plan for the Academy’s outreach initiatives. This included developing a project monitoring plan (PMP) to track the outputs and outcomes of each initiative, ensuring quality assurance by assigning key quality indicators to each function of the project, and mentoring a team of 15 members (full-time) to deliver on the set goals and key milestones for the Department projects.

At the Centre for Civil Society, Samta oversaw and implemented all the outreach activities of the Department through conferences, panel discussions, media events, guest lectures and representing Academy on all public platforms, local and international. Samta also lead a project with Ministry of Skills and Entrepreneurship, National Institute of Public Finance and Policy and PWC to redefine the regulatory architecture for the skill sector. Samta Arora has a Bachelors (Hons) in Theirtory from Lady Sri Ram College for Women (Delhi University) and a certification from Harappa Education.
