Jennifer Carrera

Jennifer Carrera is an experienced professional with a dual role in education and yoga instruction. Serving as a Yoga Teacher at Sunstone Yoga since September 2013, Jennifer specializes in Hatha and Vinyasa yoga, creating original sequences for diverse classes that accommodate students aged 11 to 70. Concurrently, Jennifer has been a Special Education Teacher at Plano ISD since August 2011, working with students with various disabilities such as dyslexia, learning disabilities, and autism. Jennifer utilizes calming techniques and develops tailored lesson plans to address the unique needs of each student. Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Special Education and Teaching from the University of North Texas, earned between 2005 and 2010.
