Steven Galvin

Steven Galvin is an experienced frontend and backend developer with a strong foundation in web development. Currently serving as an In-House Substitute at Sunstone Montessori School since August 2023, Steven previously worked as a freelance developer from November 2018 to November 2023, creating diverse projects utilizing PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, Ruby on Rails, and various frameworks. As a Backend Ruby on Rails Developer at ByteShift Development from August 2017 to November 2018, Steven developed APIs, implemented search functionalities, and contributed to location-based application projects. Education at Portland Community College culminated in an Associate’s of Applied Science in Web Development and Design, completed between 2018 and 2021, while earlier experiences at Epicodus focused on pair programming and collaborative problem-solving.
