Before transitioning to the healthcare industry, Ryan served in the United States Marine Corps as a Squad Leader from 2001 to 2005.

Ryan Roberts, MBA has a diverse education history. In 2017, they enrolled at the University of Colorado to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, specializing in Executive MBA in Health Administration. Ryan successfully completed the program in 2019. Before that, from 2014 to 2016, Ryan attended Washburn University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Medical Imaging. During the same period, they also earned a Certificate in Medical Radiologic Technology/Science - Radiation Therapist from Washburn University. In addition to their formal degrees, Ryan has also obtained certifications in their field. Ryan became a Radiation Therapist through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in 2011. Similarly, they obtained the certification of Radiology Technologist from the same institution in 2010.
