Vinay Raj

Vinay Raj has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Starting in 2004, they worked as a Project Assistant Engineer at the Indian Institute of Science, where they designed and tested power supply systems. In 2005, they moved on to the University of Strathclyde as a Control Systems Engineer, where they were involved in research and design projects.

In 2007, Vinay joined Subex as a Build and Release Engineer, responsible for testing and building software releases and providing support to onsite teams. Vinay later transitioned to the role of Implementation Engineer, where they implemented software solutions for customers and conducted user acceptance testing. From 2009 to 2013, they served as a Senior Implementation Engineer at Subex, overseeing site implementations and training new implementation engineers.

In 2013, Vinay joined Nokia as a Roadmap and Technical Product Manager, leading product management for Nokia's transport and IoT-based software solutions. Vinay successfully translated MVP products into commercial offerings and generated revenue. From 2020 to 2021, they worked as a Senior Product Manager at Concentrix, where they led fraud management and augmented reality software solutions for enterprise customers.

In 2021, Vinay joined STL - Sterlite Technologies Limited as a Principal Product Manager, where they built an O-RAN compliant 4G/5G RAN intelligent controller product and managed the entire product lifecycle. Finally, since 2023, they have been working at SunTec Business Solutions as an Associate Vice President, heading the digital communication services product management team focused on building 4G, 5G, and enterprise solutions.

Vinay obtained their Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.E.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from B.M.S. College of Engineering from 2000 to 2004.

Before entering university, Vinay attended RBANMS Pre-university College for their Pre-University education. Vinay also completed their secondary education, SSLC, from St. Josephs Indian High School.
