Rui Lopes

Rui Lopes has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Rui is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at SunTech since 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Group Chief Financial Officer at 600 Group in 2022. From 2021 to 2022, they worked as the Financial Director at Halma plc. Preceding that, Rui served as the Chief Financial Officer at Ocean Insight from 2018 to 2021. Rui also held the role of Vice President of Finance at Accudynamics, LLC from 2017 to 2018.

Rui's experience at Smiths Medical involved multiple roles: Sr Director of Finance - Business Partner AMERICAS (US, Canada, Brazil, and Latin America) from 2013 to 2017, Director of Finance - Business Partner North of Europe, Eastern Europe, and Russia from 2011 to 2013, Finance Director Iberia from 2006 to 2011, and Finance Director from 2004 to 2006. Before that, they were the Owner-Director at 4 MANG and the Finance Director at A.A.Calem, SA. Rui began their career at Deloitte in the accounting department and later worked as an Accountant at Gesnort.

Rui Lopes holds a Diploma in Financial Strategy from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, which they obtained in 2014. In 2001, they completed an MBA in Finance at Universidade do Porto. Prior to that, from 1994 to 1999, they graduated with a degree in Accounting & Audit from Universidade Fernando Pessoa. Rui Lopes also has additional certifications in Accounting from the Ordem dos Técnicos Oficiais de Contas (Portuguese chartered Accountants).
