Julian Murphy

Julian Murphy is an experienced communications professional with a strong background in media and strategic communications. Currently serving as a Senior Media and Communications Advisor at SunWater since July 2019, Julian has previously held roles such as Global Communications Manager at Corporate Travel Management ANZ and Corporate Communications Manager at Spotless Group. Julian's expertise encompasses proactive media management, crisis response, brand awareness, and stakeholder engagement, as well as serving senior leadership with communication strategies and support across various industries. Early in the career, Julian worked as a Deputy Editor at Brisbane Times and gained journalistic experience with Illawarra Mercury, complemented by academic achievements including a Master's in Communications from the University of Technology Sydney and a Bachelor of Arts from The Australian National University.
