Engineering Manager - Paradise Dam Improvement Project at SunWater Limited

Paul Maisano has over 20 years of experience in the engineering field. Paul is currently working as the Engineering Manager on the Paradise Dam Improvement Project at Sunwater since August 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Aurecon as the Geotech and Dams Lead for VIC/SA from July 2020 to July 2022. Paul also served as a Principal Engineer at ATC Williams from April 2020 to July 2020. Before joining ATC Williams, Paul worked at GHD for over a decade, where they held various roles, including Technical Director - Dams, Principal Dams Engineer, Water Storage Team Leader, Project Delivery Leader, and Senior Dams Engineer. Paul has also worked as a Business Manager at Open House Christian Church/Open House Christian School. Paul's expertise lies mainly in the field of dam engineering.

Paul Maisano has a strong educational background in engineering. Paul first attended Victoria University from 1988 to 1991, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Civil Engineering. Paul continued their education at the same university and pursued a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Geotechnics from 1992 to 1994.

In addition to their academic achievements, Paul has acquired several certifications throughout their career. Paul became a Chartered Professional Engineer through Engineers Australia in April 2013. Paul obtained the National Engineering Register certification from Engineers Australia in September 2020. Paul received the Registered Professional Engineer Victoria certification from the Victorian Building Authority in May 2022, and the Registered Professional Engineer Queensland certification from The Board of Professional Engineers of Queensland in April 2021.
