Marissa Maheu-Mendes

Marissa Maheu-Mendes, CM, currently serves as the Public Relations & Influencer Marketing Manager at Sunwing, a position held since August 2016, where responsibilities encompass managing the influencer program, media relations, and collaborating with the Sunwing Foundation on various initiatives, including the successful Flying Start campaign. Prior to this role, Marissa held various positions at Pulse Communications & Travel Marketing, including Tactical Promotions Supervisor and Marketing Coordinator, representing numerous accounts and executing impactful promotional campaigns. Experience also includes an internship at the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation, assisting in event organization, and roles at Sunwing Airlines, where foundational skills in accounts receivable and accounting were developed. Marissa earned an Honours Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing from the Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa.
