Anika Subah Ahmad Upoma

Anika Subah Ahmad Upoma serves as the Title IX Administrator and Compliance Coordinator at the University at Albany since June 2023. Additionally, Anika is a Global Goodwill Ambassador for Bangladesh with Global Goodwill Ambassadors since September 2018 and the President of EVOLUTION360, a community organization dedicated to women's empowerment and youth participation in promoting gender equality. Anika has been an Empower Women Champion for Change with UN Women since December 2016 and holds the position of Acting Head of the English Department and Lecturer at the Canadian University of Bangladesh from January 2020 to January 2025. Previous roles include Lecturer in the Department of English, Gender Equality Advocate for UNMGCY, Special Emissary at Anika Subah Leaps, and Country Representative for the Global Institute for Women Empowerment. Anika's educational background includes a Master of Education in Higher Education Administration from Harvard Graduate School of Education and a Master's degree in Applied Linguistics from the University of Dhaka.
