Brent Shako

Brent Shako is an experienced professional in transportation and operations management, currently serving as the Assistant Director of Mass Transit at the University at Albany, SUNY since June 2022. Prior to this role, Brent held the position of Operations Manager for Parking & Transportation at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from December 2018 to June 2022, and worked as an Operations Supervisor for Parking Services at Albany Medical Center from November 2011 to November 2018. Earlier in Brent's career, a role as Director of Safety and Security at The Center for Medical Science was undertaken from September 2005 to February 2012. Brent's educational background includes a Master of Science in Forensic Psychology from The Sage Colleges-Sage Graduate School and a Bachelor of Science in Criminology/Psychopharmacology from The Sage Colleges - Russell Sage College. Brent is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Security Management at American Military University.
