Deirdre Sweeney

Deirdre Sweeney currently serves as the Director of Career Services for the School of Business at the State University of New York at Albany, a position held since 2004, where responsibilities include managing daily operations and fostering employer relationships for business students. Prior to this role, Deirdre worked at Siena College, first as the Associate Director of Continuing and Professional Education, overseeing professional education programs and subsequently as an Employer Relations Advisor in the career center, managing employer recruitment initiatives. Deirdre's experience also includes a role as a Professional Trainer at the New York State Department of Labor, where training was provided to educational professionals on utilizing the CareerZone website. Deirdre holds a Master of Science in Education with a focus on Counseling and Higher Education Administration from The College of Saint Rose and a Bachelor of Science in Child and Family Services from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh.
