Merrick Thomson

Merrick Thomson possesses extensive experience in lacrosse coaching and education. Currently, Merrick serves as the Men's Assistant Lacrosse Coach at the University at Albany since August 2015. Previously, from September 2010 to July 2015, Merrick held the position of Head Men's Varsity Lacrosse Coach, Guidance Counselor, and Dean of Students at The Hill Academy. Merrick also played professional lacrosse with the Philadelphia Wings and Toronto Nationals from 2007 to 2010. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Education Administration obtained from the University at Albany in 2009, and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the same institution in 2007. Prior educational background includes attendance at The Albany Academies from 2003 to 2004.
