Peter Finn

Peter Finn serves as a Public Service Professor and Assistant to the Dean at Rockefeller College of Public Affairs and Policy, University at Albany, SUNY, since January 2012, focusing on graduate-level courses in public and nonprofit finance and environmental policy while providing support to the Dean in various administrative capacities. Additionally, Peter is the President of Park Resources LLC, a management consulting firm specializing in financial sustainability for parks and conservation organizations. Previously, Peter held the role of Executive Director at America's State Parks Foundation, advocating for state parks nationwide. Peter's extensive background includes 33 years with the New York State Office of Parks Recreation and Historic Preservation, culminating in a Deputy Commissioner position, and earlier financial administration roles within the agency. Peter Finn holds a Master of Public Administration from the University at Albany and a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Forestry from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry.
