Sheena Loughlin is an accomplished higher education professional with extensive experience in student affairs and academic advising. Currently serving as the Director of Student Affairs and Director of Graduate Student Services at Rockefeller College of Public Affairs & Policy, University at Albany, since September 2014, Loughlin has previously held roles as a Coordinator of Admissions & Student Services at the same institution. Prior to this, Loughlin worked at Long Island University as Coordinator of Pharmacy Student Counseling and Pharmacy Academic Advisor, as well as serving as Director of Alumni Outreach at StreetSquash. Loughlin began a career in education as a Higher Education Opportunity Program Counselor at Siena College and as an Admissions Counselor at Green Mountain College. An educationalist with a strong foundation, Loughlin holds a PhD in Global and Comparative Educational Policy from the University at Albany, an MA in International Education from New York University, and a BA in History/Psychology from Manhattanville University.
