Margaret Madden

Provost And Vice President For Academic Affairs at SUNY Potsdam

Margaret Madden has held various leadership positions in academic affairs throughout their career. Margaret served as the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs at SUNY Potsdam, and later took on the role of Vice President for Academic Affairs at Siena College. Prior to that, they were the Dean at Long Island University and the Associate Dean of the Faculty at Lawrence University. Margaret began their career at Franklin Pierce College, where they were a Professor of Psychology and Assistant to the Academic Vice President.

Margaret Madden's education history spans from 1973 to 1982. Margaret began their undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1973 and completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology in 1975. Following their bachelor's degree, Margaret pursued advanced studies at the University of Massachusetts Amherst from 1976 to 1982. During this time, they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Psychology, specializing in Social Psychology, as well as a Master of Science (M.S.) degree.
