Cynthia Thomas Ed

Cynthia Thomas MS. Ed serves as an Assistant Professor at the State University of New York at Oswego since May 2022, focusing on Career & Technical Education Preparation within the School of Education. Additionally, Cynthia works as an NYS Appearance Enhancement Examiner for the New York State Department of Licensing since September 2019. Prior experience includes roles as a CTE Instructional Coach and Curriculum Writer, as well as a CTE Teacher at Syracuse City School District from October 2015 to August 2022. Cynthia also taught third grade at Word of Life Christian Academy from July 2017 to July 2018. An entrepreneur, Cynthia owned K. & Company Beauty from June 2010 to June 2017, managing client relations and business operations. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Education - EdD in Learning and Teaching in Social Context from the University at Buffalo, a CAS in Instructional/Curriculum Design from Syracuse University, a Master of Education - MEd in Career & Technical Education from the State University of New York at Oswego, and a Bachelor of Science in Management from Keuka College. Cynthia also holds a cosmetology certification from Phillips Hairstyling Institute.
