Robert Simmons III currently serves as Vice President of US Social Impact & Community Engagement and Executive Director of the National Grid Foundation, where responsibilities include shaping community investment strategies and overseeing stakeholder engagement for New York and Massachusetts. In addition, Robert holds the position of Scholar in Residence at the State University of New York at Oswego. Prior experience includes being the Director of the Micron Foundation for North America, leading efforts in STEM education and philanthropy, and serving as Managing Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at Share Our Strength. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from Hamline University and a Masters of Science in STEM Education from Lawrence Technological University.
