Lassi Vasanen

Lassi Vasanen is an experienced researcher specializing in peace technologies, currently working at Felm since September 2018. In this role, Lassi has developed an operative knowledge management system to enhance situational awareness and decision-making in adaptive peacebuilding practices, while also serving as an advisor on digital technologies in the triple nexus fields. Prior experience includes various positions within the Unit for Peacebuilding and Advocacy, and an internship and researcher role at the Defense Attaché Office in the Embassy of Finland in Ankara, where Lassi analyzed the political and security landscape in Turkey and the Middle East. Lassi's career began at Kela, where responsibilities included assessing unemployment applications and managing stakeholder communications. Lassi holds a Master's degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Turku.
