Pekka Pernu

Pekka Pernu is an experienced professional in international affairs and journalism, currently serving as an International Affairs Specialist at the City of Tampere since January 2020. With a background spanning over a decade in various roles, Pekka has also worked as a Journalist for Suomen Tietotoimisto STT since May 2011. Previous positions include Business Development Manager, Team Manager, and International Coordinator at Asia Exchange from April 2016 to January 2020, as well as a Communications Consultant at Tampere Chamber of Commerce and Industry for a brief tenure in 2015. Pekka's early career features roles as an Assistant of International Affairs at the City of Tampere and a Journalist at Lapin Kansa. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in International Relations and Affairs from the University of Lapland, obtained between 2006 and 2013.
