Donald Rakevicius

Donald Rakevicius, PMP, has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Donald started their career as an Assembly Technician at ITW Paslode in 1998 before moving on to Tredegar Film Products, where they held positions as a Product Technician, Production Supervisor, and Plant Trainer.

In 2006, Donald joined Hilex Poly as a Production Supervisor and later became an Extrusion Manager. Donald then returned to Tredegar Film Products as a Production Supervisor, where they also trained operators and conducted production line start-ups at sister plants in Hungary and China.

Donald joined Tredegar Film Products again in 2008, this time as a Process Development Engineer, responsible for developing new manufacturing processes. Donald also served as a Logistics Supervisor, managing inbound/outbound shipments, supervising the shipping and receiving team, and initiating cost savings through commodity consolidation.

In 2013, Donald transitioned to Hollister Incorporated, where they worked as a Project Engineer in Global Contract Manufacturing. Donald was later promoted to Senior Project Engineer and eventually became the Senior Project Engineer for Global Operations Strategic Initiatives.

Most recently, Donald has been working at Suominen Corporation since 2018. Donald started as a Plant Manager, responsible for directing daily operations and providing leadership to various managers and engineers. Donald was then promoted to the role of Plant Director, overseeing plant operations at the Windsor Locks location.

Throughout their career, Donald has demonstrated strong leadership skills, expertise in operations management, and a focus on achieving key performance indicators. Donald is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).

Donald Rakevicius, PMP, has a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Engineering Management from Olivet Nazarene University, which they obtained between 2014 and 2016. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Industrial Technology from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale. Donald also holds an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in History from Vytauto Didžiojo universitetas. In addition to their academic qualifications, Donald obtained their PMP certification from the PMI Chicagoland Chapter in January 2018.
