Emilia Peltola has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various industries. Emilia most recently served as the Vice President of Corporate Communications, IR & Sustainability at Suominen Corporation since February 2019. Prior to that, they held the role of Director of External Communications at Valmet from January 2017 to February 2019.

Earlier in their career, Emilia worked at Metso where they served as a Communications Manager from January 2014 to March 2016. Emilia also worked as a Financial Communicator from June 2012 to December 2013 at the same company. Before joining Metso, Emilia worked as a Communications Specialist responsible for corporate responsibility and media relations at Lemminkäinen Oyj from September 2010 to February 2012.

Additionally, Emilia has experience as a Communications Manager at Metso from May 2009 to September 2010 and as a Communications Assistant. Emilia also served as a Member of the Board at Peltolan Metalli Oy from January 2013 to July 2021.

Emilia Peltola completed their education in the field of Agriculture and Forestry from the University of Helsinki. Emilia obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from 1998 to 2008, followed by a Master of Science degree which they completed by 2010.
