Paul Cioanca

Paul Cioanca has a diverse and extensive work experience in the software development and infrastructure field. Paul is currently working as an Engineer at Supabase since July 2022. Prior to this, they founded forkbomb.tech in January 2020, where they served as the Founder, Software and Infrastructure Architect, and Consultant.

Before that, Paul worked at adidas as a Technical Architect from November 2021 to June 2022. Paul also worked at National Geographic as an Infrastructure Architect and DevOps Tech Lead from April 2020 to November 2021.

From July 2017 to December 2019, Paul was the Director of Infrastructure at Connatix, where they played a key role in various initiatives such as architecting and maintaining a multimillion-dollar cloud infrastructure, leading technology initiatives, and managing DevOps practices.

Prior to Connatix, Paul worked at Small Footprint, Inc. as a Software and Infrastructure Architect from January 2017 to June 2017, and as a Software Developer from December 2015 to January 2017.

Additionally, Paul worked as a Freelance software development and infrastructure consultant from 2011 to 2017. Paul also gained experience as a Software Developer at Array51 from April 2015 to December 2015, and at Life Is Hard from June 2013 to April 2015.

Early in their career, Paul worked as a Developer and Maintainer at Rogentos GNU/Linux from June 2012 to August 2014.

Throughout their various roles, Paul has acquired a wide range of technical skills including AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Consul, Golang, Python, and more.

Paul Cioanca attended Infoel Technical College from 2008 to 2012, where they pursued a high school degree in Computer Science. Paul then went on to study Computer Science at Universitatea "Babeș-Bolyai" din Cluj-Napoca from 2012 to 2014. No specific degree is mentioned for this program.
