Sangbum Choi

Sangbum Choi has four years of work experience. In 2021, they were a Machine Learning Engineer at Superb AI Inc., where they worked on uncertainty estimation using Monte-Calro in instance segmentation, developing multi-object tracking algorithms with Tracktor and TransT, developing pretraining and transfer learning algorithms in DETR architecture, making a web-based interactive AI tool, and creating an unofficial iOS app for PM. Also in 2021, they were a Machine Learning Engineer at Kakao Enterprise. From 2019 to 2021, they were a Machine Learning Engineer and Chief Technology Officer at team ISLAND, where they made a video editing application targeting the MZ generation with various motion effects in Unity circumstances, and led the Android (Kotlin), Unity (C#), and Deep Learning teams with five developers. In 2018, they were a Software Engineer at Seerslab Inc.

Sangbum Choi began their educational journey at Sejong Science High School from 2013 to 2015. Sangbum then attended Pohang University of Science and Technology from 2015 to 2020, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. In 2018, they were an exchange student at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, studying Electrical and Computer Engineering. Currently, they are pursuing a Professional Master's degree in Enterpreneurship and Electrical Engineering at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology.
