Laura Cassara

Laura Cassara has a strong background in user experience research and design. Laura'smost recent role was as the Lead Product and UX Researcher Team Manager at Happening, starting in January 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Superbet as a Lead Product and UX Researcher from December 2021 until their move to Happening. At Superbet, they also held the position of UX Researcher since October 2019. Before joining Superbet, Laura worked as a UX Researcher at Oddschecker from February 2018 to September 2019, and at StepStone as a UX Researcher from January 2018 to February 2018. Laura also held the role of Senior User Experience Researcher at Carlson Wagonlit Travel from June 2017 to December 2017. Earlier in their career, Laura worked as a User Experience Researcher at Ladbrokes Coral Group plc from November 2015 to June 2017, as a UX Designer at MedicAnimal Ltd. from March 2015 to September 2015, and as a UX Designer/Consultant at Psychological Technologies (PsyT Ltd) from February 2015 to March 2015.

Laura Cassara completed their Master of Science (MSc) in HCI-Ergonomics at UCL from 2013 to 2014. During this time, they focused their dissertation on decision-making, healthcare apps, and app-store design. In 2015, they obtained a HTML5 & CSS3 (level 1) certification from City Lit. Laura also received a Graphic Design BTEC Level 1 Award from WAES in the same year, specializing in Graphic Design. Furthermore, Laura obtained an IELTS Certification in IGE/Academic IELTS from The London School of English. Lastly, Laura has completed a Master's degree in Social Organisational and Occupational Psychology at Università degli Studi di Palermo, although the specific start and end years for this degree were not provided.
