Camilla Avellar

Game Designer at Supercell

Camilla Avellar has a strong background in game design. Camilla started their career as a Game Artist at Jynx Playware in 2005, where they created user interfaces, animations, and illustrations for advergames using software such as Flash, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Camilla then moved up to the role of Game Designer at Jynx Playware, overseeing the production of 10 mobile games for Samsung, in association with C.E.S. In 2007, they became the Creative Manager at Jynx Playware before transitioning to Lead Game Designer and then Creative Lead at Olimpíada de Jogos e Educação, where they worked from 2009 to 2011. Camilla joined Joy Street as a Creative Lead in 2010, before moving to wooga as a Game Designer from 2012 to 2013. Finally, they worked at Supercell as a Game Designer, starting in 2013. Camilla'sresponsibilities at Supercell included game design for new, unreleased games, as well as specifically for Hay Day from 2014 to 2021. Camilla also has experience at Digital Chocolate as a Game Designer, where they developed and documented multiple mobile and iPhone games.

Camilla Avellar earned a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design from the Universidade Federal de Pernambuco, completing their studies from 2003 to 2007. Camilla further pursued their education at the same university and obtained a Master's degree in Digital Artifacts Design from 2010 to 2012.
