James Coyle has over 30 years of experience in various roles within marketing, business development, and executive positions. James'smost recent role was as the Chief Customer Officer at Retirement Essentials, where they focused on understanding the needs of older Australians and improving their retirement finances. Prior to that, they held the same role at SuperEd Pty Ltd. Between 2008 and 2013, they served as the Group Executive for Marketing and Communications at Australian Super. From 2002 to 2008, they were the GM of Marketing and Business Development at Telstra Super. James also has experience in the non-profit sector as the Director of Marketing and Commercial Development at Zoos Victoria. Before that, they held positions at HESTA, I.F. Consulting, Macquarie Group, and National Australia Bank.

James Coyle completed their education in a chronological manner. In 1983, they enrolled at the University of Tasmania and obtained a Bachelor of Economics degree with a focus on Economics and Politics in 1985. After that, they pursued further education and joined the University of Strathclyde in 1990. James completed their studies at Strathclyde in 1991, earning an M.Sc degree in International Marketing.

In addition to their academic achievements, James Coyle also obtained a certification in Investment Management Analysis. James successfully completed this certification program at the IMCA Australia institution in September 2004.
