3D Character Modeler at Supergenius

Brett Henkemeyer has been in the workforce since 2010, when they began working as a Lifeguard for the YMCA of the Greater Twin Cities. In 2014, they became a Build Technician for Proto Labs, and in 2015 they were promoted to Shift Lead at Subway. In 2012, they started their own business, Brett's Blacksmithing and Metalwork, where they identified and created metal products for the community and demonstrated blacksmithing during the Anoka County Fair. In 2017, they became a Nice Moves Mentorship at Nice Moves MN and in 2018 they joined the MFA Thesis Team at D32 Rubicon, where they were tasked with modeling collectible props and NPC characters. Most recently, in 2021, they began working as a 3D Character Modeler for SuperGenius Studio.

Brett Henkemeyer began their educational journey in 2011, when they obtained a Certificate in Beginning Blacksmithing from Arrowhead Forge. In 2015, they transferred to the Minneapolis College of Art and Design and obtained a BFA Animation with a focus on Character Animation and Modeling in 2017. In 2018, they began attending the Laguna College of Art and Design, where they obtained a Game Art (3D Character) degree in 3D Modeling in 2021. In addition, they obtained a Beginning Blacksmithing certification in 2012.
