Seddik BACHA has a diverse range of work experience. Seddik began their career as a Chef de service at the Bureau d'études techniques et Economiques de Béjaïa-Bgayet in 1982. Seddik then moved on to become a Maître-Assistant Stagiaire at Ecole Nationale Polytechnique (ENP) - Algeria from 1982 to 1986. Seddik then joined Université Abderrahmane Mira de Béjaïa as a Maître-assistant from 1986 to 1993. Seddik continued their academic career at Université Grenoble Alpes, IUT1, Laboratoire G2Elab, where they held the positions of Maître de conférences from 1993 to 2000 and then Professor from 2000 onwards. Most recently, they have been serving as the Program Scientific Director at SuperGrid Institute since May 2014.
Seddik Bacha obtained their Diplôme d'ingénieur in Electrotechnique from École Nationale Polytechnique in 1982. Seddik then pursued their Magister (Equivalent to 3rd cycle) in Electrotechnique from Ecole Nationale Polytechnique in 1990. From 1990 to 1993, they completed their Doctorat in Génie Électrique from Grenoble INP - UGA. Finally, they obtained their Habilitation à diriger des recherches (HDR) in Génie Électrique from Grenoble INP - UGA in 1998.
