Martin Bircher

Martin Bircher is a seasoned technology director currently at SuperGround since August 2022, with a previous role as a senior technical specialist. From November 2014 to July 2022, Martin served as a senior design engineer and designer at Rejlers Finland Oy. Prior experience includes a lecturer position at Xamk - South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences, focusing on software tools, digital media culture, and HMI design across various design disciplines from September 2006 to October 2014. Earlier roles include media technical assistant at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland FHNW, providing educational support and technical assistance from October 2003 to September 2006, and an electrician apprentice at eltel kommunikation ag from August 1994 to August 1998. Martin holds a Master of Arts in Media Studies from the University of Lapland and a Bachelor of Arts in Media Art from the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland FHNW, along with a professional qualification as an electrician from Berufsschule Aarau.
