John Witherow

Chief Legal Counsel at Administrative Office of Pennsylvania Courts

John Witherow has a diverse and extensive work experience. John began their career in 1988 as an Associate at Pepper Hamilton LLP, where they worked until 1992. Afterwards, they joined McNees Wallace & Nurick LLC as an Associate from 1996 to 1998. From 1998 until 2022, John worked at the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania as the Chief Law Clerk. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Legal Counsel at the Administrative Office of Pennsylvania Courts, starting in 2022.

John Witherow pursued their education at various institutions. From 1979 to 1983, they attended Penn State University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Administration of Justice. Later, from 1986 to 1988, they enrolled at The George Washington University Law School, where they earned a Doctor of Law (JD) degree.
