Ashley Moore Colon

Ashley Moore Colon has a diverse work experience in the healthcare and counseling fields. Ashley started their career at University Behavioral Health of Denton as a Program Therapist from July 2012 to October 2013. Ashley then worked at Texas Health Resources as a Licensed Professional Counselor from March 2014 to October 2015. In 2014, they also worked at New Friends New Life as a Contract Counselor, where they led sexual abuse recovery groups for adolescents and provided support for victims of domestic minor sex trafficking.

From 2015 to 2017, Ashley worked at Cenpatico, first as a Utilization Manager from October 2015 to July 2016, and then as a Lead Utilization Manager from July 2016 to January 2017.

Since 2017, Ashley has been working at Superior HealthPlan, initially as a Clinical Manager in BH Utilization Management from January 2017 to March 2022. From March 2022 onwards, they have been serving as the Director of Foster Care Operations.

Ashley Moore Colon has a diverse education history that includes both undergraduate and graduate studies. From 2004 to 2008, Ashley attended Ouachita Baptist University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree. Their major areas of study were English and Spanish.

In 2006, Ashley briefly studied at the Universitat d'Alacant. Although they did not obtain a degree from this institution, their course of study focused on Spanish.

Following their undergraduate studies, Ashley pursued a Master of Arts degree in Counseling from Dallas Baptist University. Ashley attended this institution from 2008 to 2011.

In addition to their academic achievements, Ashley has obtained professional certifications. In 2013, they became a Licensed Professional Counselor [Supervisor] through the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors. More recently, in January 2022, Ashley acquired the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (ICGB) certification from Superior HealthPlan.
