Allison R. has worked in public relations for over 13 years. In 2021, they became the Director of Media Strategy for Superior Public Relations, a boutique agency specializing in global public relations for startups, technology companies, venture capitalists, and others. Allison is responsible for securing interviews, speaking engagements, and feature coverage for clients in national, regional, local, and trade media, including Forbes, Fortune, Columbus Dispatch, and more. Allison also writes pitches and other media materials, and helps build client relationships.

In 2021, Allison R. also became the Associate Director of Public Relations & Communications for Nickerson, heading New York City operations for a national full-service PR, marketing, branding, and communications agency. Allison managed budgets, hiring, and direct reports, drove architecture, real estate developer, construction, and nonprofit accounts, and conducted large-scale rebranding projects.

From 2018 to 2021, Allison R. was the Director of Public Relations and Community Engagement for the Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan. Allison created thousands of earned media placements, generating over 2 billion consumer impressions and over ten million dollars in ad value equivalency. Allison also doubled earned media ad value equivalency and audience reach compared to the previous two-year period, and led public relations, media relations, crisis planning, and external and internal issues management.

From 2013 to 2018, Allison R. worked as the Director of Communications for the New Jersey Realtors. Allison led external and internal communications and elevated the $5 billion Realtor brand through public relations, earned media, marketing and advertising campaigns. Allison also oversaw a comprehensive organizational rebranding and promoted housing market data, financial research, and thought leaders.

From 2011 to 2013, Allison R. was the Marketing and Public Relations Associate for the Katz JCC. Allison led award-winning public relations and marketing campaigns, drove business and community engagement, and managed special event publicity and marketing with high-profile celebrities and authors.

Before that, Allison R. worked as a freelancer publicist from 2008 to 2011, and as an Account Executive for Sharla Feldscher Public Relations from 2008 to 2011. At Sharla Feldscher Public Relations, they directed publicity across traditional and digital channels for a dozen clients, and supported crisis communications and reputation management for multi-million dollar brands.

Allison R. attended Penn State University from 2003 to 2007, where they earned a BA in Journalism. In 2006, they attended The University of Manchester for Communication and Media Studies.
