Shariq Khan

Shariq Ali Khan is an accomplished academic and healthcare professional with extensive experience in public health and dentistry. Currently serving as an intern at CAPHIA, Shariq is gaining hands-on experience in the non-profit sector and public health networking across Australia. As the elected President of the Federation University Postgraduate Association and a member of the Academic Board representing HDR, Shariq plays a key leadership role. With a background as a sessional lecturer and course developer at Federation University Australia, Shariq has contributed to the education of Master of Public Health students. Additionally, Shariq co-founded the Sherwani Foundation and serves as chairman, and has been a university lecturer at Superior University Lahore, Pakistan, along with owning and operating Sherwani Dental Associates since 2013. Shariq's academic pursuits include ongoing PhD studies in Public Health, focusing on oral health literacy and status, with previous qualifications including a Master’s degree in Public Health and a Bachelor of Dental Surgery.
