Christine Addo

Christine Addo has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Christine currently works as a People Operations Associate at Supermajority since September 2022. Before that, they served as a Student Employment Coordinator at American University from April 2021 to September 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Project Coordinator at the National Science Teaching Association from November 2018 to April 2021.

Their earlier experience includes working at the University of Maryland in various roles. Christine worked as a Guest Services Office Assistant from August 2016 to August 2018, where they handled financial transactions and provided information and direction to guests. Christine also briefly worked as a Research Scholar in July 2017 and as an Undergraduate Research Assistant from February 2016 to October 2016. Additionally, they worked as a Community Assistant from December 2015 to August 2016. In 2014, they worked as a Temporary Admissions Assistant at the University of Maryland for a brief period.

Christine Addo has a strong educational background in the field of psychology and human resources management. Christine obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in Military Studies from the University of Maryland, where they studied from 2014 to 2018. Following their undergraduate studies, Christine pursued further education at the University of Maryland Global Campus and obtained a Master of Science degree in Human Resources Management from 2020 to 2022.

In addition to their formal education, Christine has also acquired several certifications related to their field. In May 2021, they obtained a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education. In July 2022, they earned the SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification from SHRM. Prior to that, in December 2019, Christine obtained the Certified Government Meeting Professional (CGMP) certification from the Society of Government Meeting Professionals. Last but not least, in July 2020, they completed the Event Management certification offered by Cvent. These certifications demonstrate their commitment to continuous learning and staying up-to-date with industry practices.
