Chang Shih-Chen

Chang Shih-Chen is an accomplished thermal engineer with extensive experience in developing and optimizing thermal solutions for various high-performance computing systems. Currently serving as a Senior Thermal Engineer at Supermicro since May 2019, Chang oversees the thermal solution for the Habana GPU system and has developed the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) for processor heatsinks. Prior experience includes roles as a Technical Marketing Engineer at Calyos-TM, a Field Application Engineer at Asetek, and a Thermal Engineer at IBM, where Chang specialized in server system thermal/acoustic design. Early career development involved engagement with Intel Corporation, focusing on cascade thermal design for server platforms. Chang holds a Master's Degree in Engineering with Innovation and Entrepreneurship from UCL and a Master's Degree in Space Science from National Central University, along with a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
